Luskin Summit 2019: Liveable LA


UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs hosted a conference to discuss the importance of unity and organizing among the Latino community.

Summary:

On April 24, 2019, the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs hosted the Luskin Summit 2019: Liveable LA. The half-day conference featured a cross-section of elected officials, decision-makers in government and business, UCLA scholars, civic leaders and difference-makers in the nonprofit and philanthropic spheres. At the conference, LPPI spearheaded a panel to talk about the 2020 Census and the importance of community organizing. The panel, moderated by Executive Director Sonja Diaz, featured:
