UCLA Professor Leisy Abrego is set to lead the Zoom webinar hosted by Emory University’s James Weldon Johnson Institute for the Study of Race and Difference, Jan. 25th from noon to 1 p.m. With a focus on the book, We Are Not Dreamers, the talk aims to compel migration scholars to move beyond a practice of thinking of undocumented students as objects of study, and instead understand their analyses as experts who both live and study migration.
