Matt Barreto, a Democratic pollster at Latino Decisions, said the overall shift nationwide still gave Democrats two-thirds of the vote, which is a huge advantage to have among the fastest growing segment of the electorate. Barreto estimates a 30 percent increase in the number of Latinos who voted in 2020 compared to four years earlier, about twice the overall turnout growth.
