Policy Fellow

ALEXANDRA QUINTANA (she/her/ella) is a second-year law student specializing in Critical Race Studies and International & Comparative Law. An incoming Mobilization Policy Fellow within the UCLA LPPI Programs Department, she is passionate about racial equity and expanding public programs that serve diverse communities – specifically immigrant families.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish and a minor in Women’s Studies.

At UCLA Law, Alexandra is Co-Chair of the Latinx Law Students Association and Symposium Director of the Journal International Law & Foreign Affairs. She also serves as a mentor for the UCLA Law Fellows Program, preparing diverse undergraduate/graduate students for a career in law. She recently completed a summer internship with the Law Offices of Do Kim as a Civil Rights Diversity Fellow, where she worked on cases involving police misconduct, prisoner abuse, wrongful conviction, and employer misconduct. This summer, she also completed her fourth trip volunteering with Blue Missions, a Clean Water Non-Profit serving the Dominican Republic.

Alexandra is the proud daughter of immigrant/political refugee parents from Cuba and grew up in Miami, Florida.
