ADRIANA ROMERO (she/her) is a second-year Master of Urban and Regional Planning candidate at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. Her lived experience and background as an early childhood educator inform her commitment to advancing accessible and affordable housing, promoting equitable transportation, and preventing the displacement of marginalized communities. She is passionate about community safety, sustainable development, and creating resilient, livable neighborhoods for all.

Adriana currently serves as an Advanced Planning Intern with the City of Long Beach, where she supports both current and long-range planning initiatives. As an incoming Policy Fellow with LPPI’s Communications Department, she is committed to amplifying narratives and research that highlight the intersectional experiences of underrepresented communities.

Born and raised in West Los Angeles, Adriana is a proud daughter of immigrants from El Salvador and Mexico.
