Research Data Analyst, UCLA LPPI

Kevin joined LPPI in August 2026 as a Research Data Analyst. He is responsible for supporting the broader quantitative needs of the research department when executing LPPI’s research portfolio.

Previously, he worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis as a Research Associate, where he was responsible for assisting senior economists with their public-facing reports, policy work, and academic projects. One example was the live data collection of the Real Time Population Survey, a project aiming to collect more information about generative AI and its impacts on the labor market.

He has a strong interest in empirical research relating to voting, labor markets, and environmental outcomes, and how we can use empirical research methods, statistical analysis, causal inference, and open publicly available datasets to help benefit the communities who need it most.

Kevin was an advanced scholar in the American Economic Association Summer Training and Scholarship Program, the focus of which was to prepare undergraduates for research careers in economics.

He is a part of the College of William and Mary’s class of 2023, where he studied economics.
