Assistant Research Analyst
Arizona State University

Diana Gallardo is an Assistant Research Analyst at the ASU Center for Latino/as and American Politics Research (CLAPR). Dianna is a first-generation junior at Arizona State University, majoring in Political Science and Transborder Chicana/o and Latina/o Studies with a focus on Media and Expressive Culture. As a proud member of the Latino community, she is deeply committed to addressing the issues that affect us—especially immigration and housing. These are not just policy areas to her, but lived realities that impact my family, friends, and neighbors. Through CLAPR, she  has gained skills in data analysis and research that help me tell these stories more effectively and work toward solutions.

Dianna was also a data and research Analyst in UCLA LPPI and ASU CLAPR co-publications, and wrangled the sample of newspaper articles from California and the broader United States sample. She also helped code authorship, centrality, and community image measures.
