Consuelo Alejandra Márquez
Consuelo Alejandra Márquez is currently a Communication Assistant at the Desert Healthcare District, a temporary Media Communication Specialist with UCLA’s School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a current enrolled in her Master’s of Science in Communication program at Purdue University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication Studies from California State University, San Bernardino in 2021. As a resident of the eastern Coachella Valley, its desert environment, increasing land developments, and the Salton Sea lake have shaped her interests in science, art, environmental health, and communication. she is also a traditional artist and painter who experiments with themes of the surrounding desert landscape, its manipulation, and abstract art.
