On April 24, 2019, the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs hosted the Luskin Summit 2019: Liveable LA. The half-day conference featured a cross-section of elected officials, decision-makers in government and business, UCLA scholars, civic leaders and difference-makers in the nonprofit and philanthropic spheres. At the conference, LPPI spearheaded a panel to talk about the 2020 Census and the importance of community organizing. The panel, moderated by Executive Director Sonja Diaz, featured LPPI Faculty Expert Dr. Matt Barreto, NALEO COO Erica Bernal-Martinez, and AltaMed Vice President of Governmental Relations, Berenice Núñez Constant
